Event Description
Are you looking to deepen your asanas practice? Increase your attention and will power? Balancing postures can help.
Breath coordination is a natural part of the effort to balance, and concentration is a must. Endurance is built by holding the posture longer as we learn to combine relaxation with control and strength. The sustained practice of these postures prepares one for meditation as well as giving increased clarity, grounding, and self-confidence.
Please note that while this sequence of asanas was popularized by Yogi Bikram Choudhri, they have been part of the core of yoga asanas for millennia, and the Ashram’s style of instruction varies from his, since our focus is on asanas for spiritual growth and preparation for meditation.
